Terms of Service: Shipping, Warranties, and Refunds

At IMS Refacciones Industriales (legal entity: Inside Manufacturera y Servicios), we are committed to providing transparent and high-quality service. Below, we detail our commercial policies, delivery times, warranties, and refund processes.

2. Shipping and Availability Policies

Import Lead Times: If a product is out of stock, the estimated lead time for import and processing is 1 to 3 weeks.

Availability: All spare parts are subject to availability and changes without prior notice. In the event of a change in product conditions that is not accepted by the customer, IMS Refacciones Industriales will issue a full refund and cancel the corresponding fiscal invoice.

Free Shipping: Standard shipping is free for purchases exceeding 160 USD (excluding VAT/IVA). The selection of the courier service (DHL, FedEx, or Paquetexpress) is at the sole discretion of the seller.

Insured Shipping: The cost to insure merchandise during transit is charged separately and varies depending on the total amount to be insured. This insurance service is not included in the free shipping promotion for purchases over 160 USD excluding VAT/IVA; therefore, the customer must request it and cover its cost independently if they wish to do so.

3. Warranty Policies

Due to the nature of industrial components, our spare parts are covered by a warranty exclusively against manufacturing defects, subject to the following conditions:

Timeframe: The warranty must be claimed within the first 30 calendar days following the receipt of the product.

Mandatory Requirement (Passive Testing): The customer must provide evidence of passive testing (measurements using a multimeter or other diagnostic tools) before mounting the spare part onto the machinery. Warranties will not be accepted for components that have already been installed, as external or pre-existing faults in the customer's machinery could damage the requested spare part.

Exclusions: We are not responsible for product misuse, negligence during installation, or failure to comply with safety measures and industrial best practices.

4. Process to Request a Refund or Exchange

To make a warranty claim, return, or refund effective, the customer must strictly follow these steps:

Submit Evidence: Send an email to ventas@ims-refacciones-industriales.com explaining the reported failure in detail, attaching photo or video evidence of the passive tests performed.

Product Return: Once our team validates the evidence of the manufacturing defect, the customer must ship the product back to our facilities.

Resolution: Upon receiving and physically inspecting the component at our address, we will proceed to issue a full refund or exchange the product for a new one, according to the customer's preference.
