A bridge rectifier is an electronic circuit that converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). It s a type of full-wave rectifier that uses four or more diodes arranged in a bridge configuration. This configuration allows it to rectify both the positive and negative halves of the AC waveform, resulting in a higher average DC output voltage and lower ripple voltage compared to a half-wave rectifier.
